Apartment in Stampin — Running Basin Tap
A homeowner in Stampin had a basin tap that would not close fully. Water ran at a slow but constant rate, adding to the water bill and causing mineral staining in the sink. Two previous attempts at self-repair had stripped the original handle.
Mitra Salur carried a cartridge compatible with the original tap brand. The old cartridge was extracted despite the stripped spindle — a cartridge puller tool from the van handled the extraction. A new cartridge and handle were fitted and aligned.

Pre-Sale Survey — Terrace House, Samarahan
A seller in Kota Samarahan was preparing a 22-year-old terrace house for sale. The conveyancer recommended a plumbing survey to support the disclosure documentation and flag any defects before the SPA was signed.
The whole-home survey took approximately three hours. The team worked room by room, recording pipe material, joint condition, and moisture readings. A condensed findings summary was prepared alongside the full room-by-room log.
Two areas of concern identified — one corroded joint under the master bath, one suspect pipe run in the utility room. The seller arranged remediation before listing; both issues were resolved. Written report accepted by the buyer's solicitor. Total cost: RM 1,300.

Cistern Running Constantly — Petra Jaya
A family in Petra Jaya had a toilet that ran continuously after flushing. The sound was audible from the adjacent room. The bidet sprayer had also developed a slow drip from the hose connection.
The Toilet and Bidet Fix covered both. The cistern fill valve and flapper were both replaced — the flapper had warped, causing water to bypass into the bowl. The bidet hose was swapped for a new stainless-braided hose and the angle valve freed up and re-greased.
